How Scholarship Support Works on the DPU Route

Families ask about scholarships before they ask about almost anything else. Here is how support actually works on the DPU route, described honestly rather than advertised.

Who decides

Awards on the DPU route are decided by DPU in Bangkok, through their own committee and their own process. Lahore City College prepares and submits your application and tells you where you stand, but we do not decide the outcome, and we will not tell you an award is certain before it has been confirmed.

What is assessed

Your academic results, the strength of your application, and an interview with the admissions team. English ability is assessed as part of that process, and what is required depends on the programme you are applying to. We go through the specific requirements with you once we have seen your documents, rather than publishing one figure that may not apply to your case.

What we will not do

We will not promise you a scholarship before your documents have been assessed. We will not quote a figure we cannot honour. And we will not publish a headline number designed only to get you through the door. If someone in this market does any of those things to you, treat it as a warning rather than an offer.

What it costs

Costs are confirmed directly with your family in writing, including anything that sits outside tuition. They vary by programme and by intake, and a family deserves the current figure rather than last year’s. Ask during the consultation and you will get a complete answer with nothing hidden underneath it.

When you can start

The main intake follows the Punjab board intermediate results. If you already hold your result, or you are applying from A Levels or an equivalent qualification, you do not need to wait for that date.
