A Practical Route to Studying Abroad From Pakistan

Why some students begin in Lahore

Starting closer to home can give students time to build academic confidence and prepare financially before moving abroad. The value of this route depends on confirmed progression and credit arrangements.

How the DPU route is intended to work

Eligible students may begin approved study at Lahore City College and continue at DPU in Bangkok. Current programmes, transfer points and credit requirements must be checked for the relevant intake.

What to budget for

Plan for tuition, travel, visa charges, insurance, accommodation, food, local transport and personal expenses. Ask for a written cost schedule and understand which amounts may change.

Documents and eligibility

Students normally need academic records, identity and passport documents, photographs and programme-specific forms. International admission and visa requirements are separate processes and may change.

Recognition and progression

Verify the awarding institution, programme accreditation and intended recognition before paying. Ask how completed study in Lahore will be recorded and transferred.

Life and study in Bangkok

Students should consider accommodation, transport, personal safety, cultural adjustment, attendance requirements and access to student services as part of the academic decision.

Before you commit

Review the programme documents, total cost, refund rules, visa responsibilities, transfer conditions and internship requirements with your family and Admissions.
